Foot Patrol ran; he came in second; next time he’ll be first, no doubt! So, he’ll eat for a month; get to keep his capital letters–and get a big picture right here!

Speaker and Thoroughbred racehorse owner, Jo Ann Heppermann, left her job as a corporate attorney to follow her horses. You'll laugh as she talks about the highs and lows of owning race horses and the faith, determination and sense of humor it takes to stay sane in the business. She'll entertain your audience and just might inspire them to follow their own dreams.

Derby Week!
No, we don’t have a horse running. I’m thinking next year! And I don’t know who is going to win the Derby. But, I have a picture of Dunraven Pass–he just might be back! And yes, Foot Patrol keeps trying and Blushing Aura may be the one. But DRP just might be back! Someone once said–Hope springs eternal!
Third–We’ll Take It!
Foot Patrol came in third–not as good as first or second–but better than fourth or seventh or 51 lengths behind. Perspective can be a helpful thing. Until he comes in first or second, though, I’m only going to show pictures of our other horses that we hope are better! Here is Blushing Aura–in all her two year old glory.
