Second–by a length!  Yes, Dunraven Pass, the horse who broke his leg on July 17, came back Wednesday night to come in second in his first race ever!  He looked great, notwithstanding his lollygagging down the back stretch.  But at the top of the stretch, he kicked it into gear–and didn’t slow down until long after the race was over!  We cheered our lungs out and reveled in the fact that we never gave up.  To quote Walter, “We have a runner!”  My gut tells me, this one is going to be fun to watch.  I’m thinking it is time!
