A Horse Is Running–Maybe

Unbridled Logic Working Out
Maybe Unbridled Logic will run September 1; maybe not.  Either way, he is pretty, isn’t he?
Unbridled Logic is set to run on Saturday, September 1 at Ellis Park in a Maiden Special Weight where he is the morning line third favorite.  The questions are:  Will he start running before the top of the stretch?  Will he wait until he is 19 lengths behind before getting his act together? Will Hurricane Isaac’s remnants make a mudder out of him?  Will Walter scratch him because the water is too deep?  All I know is, he looks good.  We’ll know tomorrow.

His stablemate, Schiller’s Pass also looks good.  If only that mattered. His picture with blinkers is below.  During his first race, he had a grand time, looking at all there was to see.  The concept of “race” escaped him, but he came back from his second-last finish full of energy.  Why not? So we are trying blinkers.  This morning, he was still trying to see all the scenery–with his blinkers on.  Oh well, at least he is pretty!

We Hit the Board!

We just may have a horse!  Unbridled Logic hit the board on Saturday, July 28–his first time out.  And the fact that he was 7th,  19 1/2 lengths behind after a half-mile, makes it all the more unbelievable.  I’m thinking if he actually thinks about running a little earlier the next time, we just might win.  Who would have thought!  You go, Big Boy!
